ABSTRACT
This paper examines
the impact of Internet technology on emerging businesses and its contribution
to the development of entrepreneurship in Greece. It emphasizes the importance
of start-ups in the business ecosystem and the creation of favorable conditions
for the development of innovative business ideas. In addition, a theoretical
approach of basic concepts of the ecosystem of the startups is carried out
which, in combination with the quantitative research that follows, attempts to
answer the question whether the development of Internet technology affects entrepreneurship
in Greece currently and in the future.
