ABSTRACT
This article aims to expose
the experience of the Faculty of Law in the Doctorate in Legal Sciences Educational
Program, reflecting on the strengths and areas of opportunity that contribute
to raising the quality of postgraduate education in Mexico. Firstly, the problem of higher education institutions
that teach a law degree is presented, after which brief background of both the National
Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the UABC are reported in order to locate the doctorate program in legal
sciences.
