ABSTRACT
This article is part of the
Sustainability Reporting studies and it moves from Jane Davison’s studies to apply an
approach, inspired by Roland Barthes, to the use of photographs in these
reports. Significant traces of
impression management can be found, thus opening up a new interesting line of
research that embraces images (together with numbers and narrative) with
potential significant impacts in terms of understanding the dynamics of these
reports.
